When Circus approached us for a new website, they were experiencing rapid growth and hitting new records in turnover. They clearly needed no help in the business department, but their existing website was stuck in the past and didn’t convey the personality or service quality of the business.

We had ambitious brief to create a website with a few quirks and areas of intrigue to make circus stand out from the crowd and compel the user to make contact.

The challenge

A dynamic website that shouts GROWTH

Circus have a great client base and a long list of case studies that demonstrate fantastic results. Growth is the key word, and the website needed to shout it loudly, giving prominence to client successes and the company’s own awards. Circus is a vibrant and fun place, and communicating their personality and culture to the user was also important.

Part of the project, as with many, was to also develop their branding and lead it in a new direction that other marketing assets could follow.

What we did

Impactful design and a streamlined user-experience

We established a simple structure consisting of just a few key landing pages from which users can spread out from. There are no dropdown menus with multiple levels, but content is all interlinked neatly so a logical next-step is always at hand.

A lot of focus was put on the very first landing page (home page), where motion and interactivity guides the user down through a short initial narrative. Information is kept at bite-size length with plenty of open space so the key info isn’t missed. Circus have plenty to shout about, from client projects, the results and feedback, to their own awards and recognition. All of these things are brought into the story to back up the Circus proposition.

The end result went down a storm, and we still get great feedback!
